Reviews

"...the true professional. She is a relaxed singer with a superb technique and tone that never deteriorates at full volume, as in her very dramatic account Menotti's 'Steal Me, Sweet Thief". I find her a very versatile, intelligent and charismatic singer."
- Ian Dando, Christchurch Star 23 /10/96.

"Valerie Wycoff dispatches these new songs with poise. Her outstanding delivery of Schubert's 'Sheperd on the Rock' showed exactly why Wycoff is one of the finest singers in Christchurch. Her precise focus on the treacherous arpeggio leaps was an object lesson in voice placement and integrated vocal tone across all registers."
- Ian Dando, Christchurch Star 7/4/98.

"Here we have an intelligent singer who knows how to extract Gershwin's style . . .
Without a doubt she has a brilliant path in front of her in this repertoire."
- Nybya Dando, Christchurch Star 21/10 98
