This Kiln Fired Screen depicts New Zealand Native Flowers, along side introduced species. Constructed using 4mm window glass fixed into an aluminium frame (wedgewood blue into an inner frame of hawthorne green).

Christchurch Catholic Cathedral New Zealand. Using children's profiles as an innerframe or Canterbury Blossom the work conveys the life source of Christchurch "The Garden City." This piece set in a wooden holding frame (Rimu) may be hung as a painting or set into a door or window. Suitable for interior/enterior use.

"SHADOWS OF OUR TIMES": These Kiln Fired Glass windows, panels and screens are Vivienne Bashfords interpretation of the theme " From The Mountains To The Shore." This work was created as a part of the decoration of the Christchurch Cathedral Visitors Centre for the 1997 "Garden City Festival of Flowers."
The window has been leaded into three panels and is suitable for interior or exterior use. This work focuses on the life source of the Garden City and Cathedral via the strengths and weaknesses of the wider community.
