Kate Spencer has been advising artists about how to advance their professional arts careers for several years before designing the art business seminars that she is now offering internationally. As a regional web site provider and a gallery director, Kate Spencer formed FUSE in 2001along with Sarah Amazinnia. Both have dealt with visual artists, writers, and performers professionally for more than a decade. As artists themselves they have experience in many sides of the Arts industry. Facilitating seminar courses together, they inform artists of the pitfalls, learned first hand and through the shared experience of hundreds of creative people. Their seminars are a distilled representation of proven tools and techniques for the business side of being an artist. Achieving financial success in the Arts is a fascinating equation where the same set of business skills are needed, in every region and at any level, while no two individual situations are the same. The short talks are designed to inform artists about the skills necessary to succeed in the Arts. Private consultations may also be booked in advance.
