Are you ready to venture on a creatively explorational journey to yourself ?

The Belladonna Film Trust is staging a film and video production
course late in the summer holidays. The aim of the course is to teach primary
skills in film production and work towards the creation of a professional short
film. The course will allow students to explore target interest areas and to
observed professionals working on a short film.

On offer will be hands on experience with cameras, sound equipment, art
department work, post-production editing, special effects and music
design. Students can attend the three day course, and if interested, be
involved in the three day short film shoot as well.

The course runs in three groups; the 7-12 age group, the 13-17 age
group and the adult (short film shoot only) group.

The course will be run at differing times for each group. The 7-12 group
will operate from 10am until 2pm each day from Wednesday 28 January to
Friday 30 January. The 12-17 group will run from 9am to 3pm each day
from Wednesday 28 January to Friday 30 January. The adult students will
attend a session on Tuesday night 27 January from 7pm to 9pm and will then
attend the shoot from 28 January to 1 Feb.

All non-adult students are welcome to attend the shoot days as well, but
limited supervision is available during the weekend of the shoot for
children. the event location has yet to be confirmed, but will be in the
Papanui-St Albans area of town.

Fraser has also asked if people could bring some food to share for dinner, if we have just a 40 minute break in the middle we can make best use of the time.

Also to make it easier for me so we know definite numbers and I can write a cheque out to Fraser and so people can confirm their place on the workshop I would prefer payment to be made by the 20th of January.
