The Christchurch Liedertafel is based in Christchurch, the largest city in the South Island of New Zealand. It was established in 1885 and sings a wide range of music including spiritual, contemporary, show songs, classical and New Zealand music. It sings with the ANZAC dawn service every year and in many public concerts including the Christchurch Town Hall.
Three subscribers' "At Home" concerts are performed each year.
It has also recently performed at North Island and South Island Male Choir Festivals.
This choir hosted the 2001 New Zealand Festival of Male Voice Choirs in October 12-14, 2001.
