Eco Artists  New Zealand is a Non-Profit Charitable Trust established in 2007 by Lochmara Lodge Wildlife Recovery and Arts Centre  and a group of passionate artists from around New Zealand.

Artists and galleries can register  as Eco Artists and have the option to elect to incorporate a donation towards environmental conservation into the promotion and benefit from the sale of their art. Eco Artists are invited to use the logo and affiliation with Eco Artists to promotion of their own artistic practices when they choose to donation at least 1% of the profit from work sold into the trust pool. They are encouraged join in group exhibitions, and to participate as much as they wish in this truly collaborative effort. It is hoped that the affiliation will benefit the artists through association, inspiration and the potential networks being developed.

One a year the donating artists have the opportunity to nominate and elect where money will be allocated from the pooled funds. An annual $35 administration fee is charged to be included on the website, and receive information about Eco Artist activities via newsletter. Jump in now to be eligible to exhibit in the next Eco Artists exhibition to be held at Lochmara Lodge from 10 September - 10 October 2011. Ask to be put on the lodge mailing list to receive information about upcoming artist residencies, workshops and events at the lodge for their 2011-12 season. all artwork sold at the Lodge also incorporates a donation to their own Wildlife Recovery Centre.
